Duke Energy Home Battery Incentives

Get monthly credits for your home battery system

Save money when you install battery storage

Power Manager® provides incentives for Duke Energy customers who register their home battery storage. This program allows Duke Energy to manage energy usage on the electric grid by drawing power during high-demand periods. Customers can receive monthly bill credits as a reward for their participation.

*See below for qualified EVERVOLT systems.

What Is the ConnectedSolutions Program?

During times of very high demand for electricity, think everyone using their A/C on a hot summer’s day, utilities must rely on non-environmentally friendly options to meet customer demand. Enrolling in ConnectedSolutions allows your utility to instead use some of your stored solar power in your EVERVOLT home battery system during peak demand events. This lowers pollution, increases grid stability, and financially compensates you.

So how do you enroll?

Step 1

  • As long as you live within Massachusetts or Rhode Island, have an EVERVOLT home battery system successfully installed and commissioned, and have an interconnection through Eversource, National Grid, Rhode Island Energy or Cape Light Compact you should be eligible

  • Once you have confirmed your eligibility your utility requires an application to be submitted for enrollment
