PowerPair℠ provides incentives for Duke Energy customers who combine the savings of solar panels and the independence of home battery storage. Panasonic, a Duke Energy Trade Ally, helps participating North Carolina customers earn one-time installation incentives when a Panasonic Authorized Storage Installer installs a qualified EVERVOLT® solar plus battery system.

What Is the ConnectedSolutions Program?
During times of very high demand for electricity, think everyone using their A/C on a hot summer’s day, utilities must rely on non-environmentally friendly options to meet customer demand. Enrolling in ConnectedSolutions allows your utility to instead use some of your stored solar power in your EVERVOLT home battery system during peak demand events. This lowers pollution, increases grid stability, and financially compensates you.
So how do you enroll?
Step 1
- As long as you live within Massachusetts or Rhode Island, have an EVERVOLT home battery system successfully installed and commissioned, and have an interconnection through Eversource, National Grid, Rhode Island Energy or Cape Light Compact you should be eligible
- Once you have confirmed your eligibility your utility requires an application to be submitted for enrollment

- Once you contact the above email address, you will receive the terms & conditions document for review and signature along with the instructions to fill out the enrollment form on our web portal https://myevervolt.com
Step 3
- Once you have successfully submitted the application all you have to do is wait for your system to be approved and be part of the program.

PowerPair
Qualifying PowerPair installations may be eligible for the following one-time incentives:
- $0.36/watt-AC for solar panel installation up to 10 kW-AC
- $400/kWh for battery storage installation up to 13.5 kWh
Eligibility
- You must be a Duke Energy Carolinas or Duke Energy Progress online customer.
- Your qualifying EVERVOLT system must be installed by a Duke Energy Trade Ally and enrolled in the Residential Solar Choice Rider. View the program Terms and Conditions.
- You must apply for and adhere to Duke Energy interconnection requirements and maintain enrollment in Residential Solar Choice Rider for 24 months.
- After 24 months you may switch to the Net Metering Bridge Rider, subject to availability. You may switch riders a total of two times within the 10-year enrollment period.
- You can view the riders for customers of Duke Energy Carolinas or Duke Energy Progress online.
- You must provide a reliable internet connection and grant access to operating and characteristics data to Duke Energy and applicable third parties.
